How do i deal with a judgment on my credit report?

A  judgment always means that you have been found guilty through a court of law for money owed to someone. judgment1 How do i deal with a judgment on my credit report?

Almost every time, regardless of what you believe, if you fall behind with your account payments and fail to respond to reminder letters then the credit/service provider (person who you owe money to) may apply for a court judgment.  It is always as a last call to action by that person who believes that you are avoiding them.

A judgment is granted when a court gives you the instruction to pay the outstanding account.

A judgment remains on your credit report for 5 years and details of the judgment/s are outlined in detail on your credit report.

The date, plaintiff, nature of debt and amounts are all recorded on your TransUnion or Experien Credit Report.

For advice on how to deal with these judgements you can always email the Debt Doctor, whom we found to provide some sound advice, however if you can send him a copy of your credit report this would assist.

This is a very serious issue and you should address this as such.  So be very clear on what your status is.
